A MOT test checks that your vehicle meets road and environmental standards. It is an offence to use a vehicle that does not have a valid test certificate. It is important that your current test certificate does not expire before your next MOT test is due, because it is possible your motor insurance will become invalid. You can do this up to 28 days prior to the expiry date on your test certificate.
At My Motoring Centres we only carry out a Class 4 MOT test. We can also replace a lost or damaged MOT certificate. If we did not carry out a MOT on your vehicle and you would like a replacement certificate, just bring your log book in so we can issue you one.
If you are unhappy or have any enquires about the MOT test carried out on your vehicle you can contact DVSA or we can provide you with a VT17 form.
